Yeah, according to CNET these were released October 27th, 2011. I still wouldn't be surprised if they come out with a new model, like the H850 or something that has the unifying receiver capabilities.

It seems like all Logitech accessory products are transitioning over to that.

As for taking up more USB ports, does your laptop have Bluetooth built in? You could always use that as a way to connect without an additional receiver.

Really....is it that hard to read the Discover thread ?

Thinking about getting these to use with my cellphone while I walk around my apartment/cooking/washing dishes etc. Maybe sometimes for gmail gchat also when making phone calls. Will this suffice?

No, I was referring to clicking thru FW only. They currently have 7% CB at TigerDirect.

Actually yes (I have a few CB promos going a few cards and was thinking about the other terms). So it wouldn't matter how fast you did this one.

I personally would avoid tigerdirect.com at all costs. There mail in rebates are nothing but ripoff's. Good luck if you have already bought this product thinking you will get your rebate.

I actually was planning to combine it with my desktop (and of course my phone, but that one won't have any issues). I'll look around for some other headphones or just wait since I'm not in a rush to buy anything. Any recommendations? From comments, I've read Seinheisser and Bose are good companies, but I don't know anything much more than that. I'll make Google my friend later.

I haven't had any experience with their rebates, but a friend purchased a projector from them. When he received it, it was damaged (cracked). They refused to accept responsibility for it. I know it's possible that it could've been UPS, but the fact that their customer service gave him such a difficult time makes me reluctant to purchase from them.
