Yeah, I know the i5 is a faster chip, but I want to do a bit of gaming and the A8 does that well. Also, the cheapest i5 with a M520 was about 50% more expensive.

All in all, it's pretty goddamn amazing what you can get for half the price of a 32G ipad!

Are you upfront with them that these are refurbs and may not carry the full warranty? And just curious, what sort of mark up do ou include in the price (will understand if you dont want to answer that)?

Deals like that don't last too long. Any I-7 with a GT555M or GT550M is an automatic purchase if your in the market for it. Under $600 isn't bad either, but Lenovo Outlet spoils us with their low prices.

Are Lenovo refurbs eligible for Windows 8 upgrade for $15?

I'm not loving my refurb lenovo laptop from this spring. Sending it back for it's second time, for the same issue. Lenovo make you pay to ship their broken laptop back. whatever. will steer clear in the future.

what issues have you been having?

A lot of these laptops would be good deals except for the poor screen resolutions

The CTRL key sticks. Not the physical key, but the laptop thinks that CTRL is still being pressed. I'm hoping the second time, they replace the computer. My wife is giving my hell about it.
