Not the same tent. The model sold by Cabelas comes with fiberglass poles, a significant downgrade.

ETA: take away the hunting and fishing departments, and this is the difference between gear sold by Cabelas versus gear sold by REI, in a nutshell.

True. But have you ever spend the better part of two days of teeming rain cooped up in a small tent way out in the wilderness?

That annoyingly light, bright cheerful color to your rain fly suddenly starts making a whole lot of sense.

This is a great entry level tent for the money. Took my daughter camping with her Y-Princesses tribe (HowHow!) a week after we got it. Setup was extremely easy. While I would not try to sleep 4 adults in it, 2 adults and 2 kids would fit with some extra room for gear in the covered vestibule. It poured on our first night and we were completely dry, as was the gear we stored in the vestibule. Extremely light for 4-person tent. We love it. Got it for $90 with a nice Kershaw knife added in to get free shipping.
