what about the firmware issues with this people are barking about?

I nearly pulled the trigger on this drive a few times, but all the talk about proper TRIM lacking on these scared me away. After seeing the benchmarks on the Samsung 840 Pro drives, I think I'll be waiting for those to drop. This seems like a decent price for those interested, though.

Some interim firmware was written for various vendors but not every company chose to release every version because none fully have been proven to correct the TRIM issue and some are awaiting WhQL. |
