Comcast Xfinity Performance Internet 19.99 per month for 12 months with 1 year contract ends 10/21/12 New Customers Only YMMV

Im in Sacramento, CA. Had 19.99 performance for a year, 34.99 for the year after. This month it was bumped to 62.95

Tried a couple phone numbers from SD with no luck. Ended up getting Blast for a year for $39.99.

I haven't read of any case like that. I doubt repricing would work.

I should have mentioned earlier that the $19.99 for 6 months that I see for my area is for current cable subscribers. It is also showing up as $29.99 for non-cable subscribers.

Those sites are just resellers who'd pass the order along to Comcast. I did run into a couple of instances in the past where the promotional rate wasn't even properly passed along that I needed to get the Comcast CSR to correct. So, if you do order through those sites, make sure to talk to a Comcast CSR to confirm and reconfirm (and again) on the rate when you're activating the service. I haven't been with Comcast for more than a year now, so can't offer any recent experience. I did go through both of them (at different times) in the past and the rebates worked for me. You may want to search around for others' more recent experiences/comments.

Thanks for that info. The only thing I got stung on in my early attempt to get Comcast was I got assinged "Performance Starter", which is their 6 mbps service. I was told verbally I was going to get "Performance" 15 - 20 mbps down. I never heard of "starter" before. This time around I want to get every thing down in writing.

i am paying comcast $39.97 per month for 50MBPS, but i am ticked because I was getting 30mb for $30, and they just gave me 50mb and started charging me $45. I could only get them to come down $5.
my directv contract is up next month but they wont let me negotiate a new deal until the day it is actually up. I am sick of this. thinking of rolling into a fios deal for a year and let them all eat crow. But I hate verizon, like others said they are cocky and think they are in control of the world.

$72.95 to be exact. Mine expired last month and I didn't realize it until it was too late. I've terminated my account yesterday and now in the process of switching to a new account.

If I remember correctly, we live in the same city. You can try calling the rep that I've been calling. He got me a pretty good deal last time. PM me if you need more info.

BTW if you are sent to a third party verification to accept the contract agreement, then it is most likely you are on the 12 month contract, fixed price. You can also try calling up several times from different phone numbers, and ask when your price will move up, this should give you an idea if you are on a 6mo or 12mo plan.
I work at a "cable company", so I know the business. Great deals don't come easy, so if you want it cheap and easy.... go to dial up... lol

I am stuck at the 29.99 plan.. they did extend that for me for another 6 months instead of jacking up the price

Try setting up a disconnect date to show that you're serious about disconnecting. Then after (and before your disconnect day) call them again and they'll offer you something better. Last time I tried this they offered the original promo price of $29.99 (original price I signed up with.)
