Hi, does anyone have a scan of this mailer. I tried calling multiple times and I have been given the run around. Finally one CSR has said he can try to adjust the price later once he some details of the mailer. Btw I am in western mass.
I cancelled my 6 months promo for $29.99 (20mbps).
Waited for a week without internet (used landlord's 3mbps DSL!).
Callled the number OP provided, got in on the $19.99 deal for 20mbps. Also got the blast for additional $10 which ensured 30mbps speeds.
I was getting around 24mbps and was not happy. So I thought of taking the blast off and was chatting with a rep. He says, I was entitled only for 12mbps and 16mbps after blast.
I called customer care, tried explaining the situation and he immediately said that he sees a 3 month free blast offer and gave me that deal! Regarding speeds, he transferred me over to a tech and the tech immediately said, 'I see what the problem is' and he rebooted the router and did something on his end.
Speedtest now shows 40~50mbps on 802.11n. Not sure how long it lasts but this is freaking awesome. Blast is free till January '13 on my account.
It is funny the way I was repeatedly turned down by comcast reps when requested deals for 50mbps deals and I just experienced them for a super low price.
Deal extended until middle of November don't remember the exact date, but I think it was 11/11/12. Just got a mailer yesterday from Comcast for this deal (Performance Internet 19.99/12months). I'm located in Montgomery County, MD.
Just ordered this package from NJ, outside of NYC. Waited almost 10 mins on the phone. At first the rep try to sell the $99 triple play package but I asked about the 19.99 performance internet service for 12 mths and got it. Waive the $10 shipping for self install package. Cable modem is $7 per month so the monthly bill will be almost $30. If this works out will probably purchase a cable modem. And of course cxl my current Verizon DSL and land line service which comes to about $42 per month.
Watch your bills. Comcast has one of the worst billing systems.
They charged me the $50 deposit twice, assured me it would be off, made the account
past due even though it was current. Their paper bill does not match the online amount which in turn
does not match the internal billing that the CS reps refer to. What a mess !
