Walt Disney World Premium Annual Pass ( DVC Members ) $399 plus tax

So you received a certificate and you have until the end of the year to use it?

I always thought you had to buy the annual pass the last day of your park hopper day. If it's redeemable any time after that'd be great.


Can the certificate be given to someone else?

The certificate clearly states I have till December 31, 2013. I plan on buying another one before the promotion is up.

Not sure if I can give it out to anyone or not or I need to be present Haven't tried that yet.

OP I'm a DVC member. This was announced mid-September and it's most welcome. All the details are on your sign-in page on the DVC member site. If you have any questions it's a good idea to call member services.

Even though I have annual pass vouchers # awaiting activiation, these heavily discounted preferred annual passes are hard to pass up! Since typical vouchers don't have an expiration/use-by date. I'll take advantage of this new member perk and will hold my existing vouchers.

FYI:

*Any annual pass or voucher (which can be redeemed towards the purchase of said annual pass) can only be purchased for immediate family members who reside in the members' househould. They will check driver's licenses to verify.

*Only DVC members may buy these discounted preferred annual passes/vouchers.

There are two options to choose from but both must be purchased before the end of this year:

1) Buy it at guest services at Walt Disney World before year-end. You will need your DVC card and photo ID along with payment. Yes, you can apply unused ticket media against the purchase price. These 366 day tickets start 'ticking' the day you make the purchase...you cannot hold them for activation. Note that if you are upgrading multiple day Magic Your Way tickets to the pass, the origination date will be the date that the tickets was first used during your visit...which isn't necessarily the same day you decide to upgrade the ticket.

2) Call DVC Member Services and purchase a voucher. Said vouchers must be activated before 12/31/13. No ticket media can be applied against the purchase price as in option #1 above. Again, proof of DVC membership will be required to activate the tickets at Walt Disney World.

Yup, great perk. I'm glad I took advantage of it. Thanks for pulling up the redemption rules. I'm probably not cashing them till the end of next year ince Disneyland is our next trip.
