walked a few blocks after work and they had no idea what I was talking about. cross the street to the other Starbucks and a lady w/ a sign 2pm - 4pm. saw the plastic 8 oz cups as she was demoing it. Wanted the sample but the 3 people in front of me was so interested and wow'd on the new machine that they asked a thousand questions and comments for about 4 minutes straight so I just left. what a waste of time.

I never did, in fact I posted to correct the guy who did.
"Explanation," of course, meant what you would not understand, which you assumed meant something else.
You need to pay more attention, and you need to stop insulting other races and cultures!
Educate yourself about the word in question, and apologize. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jap
I wouldn't be the one talking.
YOU edited your previous post to dumb it down and YOU deleted the racist terms that YOU used. You can see the previous edit from 10:10pm. Don't think you can ninja your way out of it. Timestamps and when I quoted you earlier, are not your friend.
And just for reference, here is the post where you clearly are racist towards the English. Or as they refer to themselves, "Brits."
I am clearly aware that "Jap" is used as both a derogatory term and as a short-form Japanese. However, when reading the original commenter's post, it did not seem to have the intent of being racist. He probably was lazy and didn't want to type out the entire word.
I do however, applaud you for editing your post and removing the racist words. Now you need to go take out the part about the English.
Anywho, thanks, but no thanks.
EDIT (Additions): I went thru your Wikipedia article. Don't you see how in may parts of the world, including Japan, "Jap" is not used or has the intent of a negatory statement? It's merely an abbreviation. Yet in other parts of the world, it is seen as offensive. The Japanese (mainland proper) don't even distinguish between it. Again, I'm using your source as the authority. You really should read past the first line (which actually cements my argument). Please try more.
I agree, rewards much improved. Never got soy, or a syrup, and the post cards make me crazy. I just hope I pay attention to which one is my 12th so I can order my rare quadruple Vente Frap.
It doesn't work like that. When I woke up this morning, Android let me know Starbucks app needed updated. Downloaded it. On the rewards tab, it said I had four rewards ready for redeeming (going back to September). Not sure if I'll be getting postcards for any of those too. Either way, I went to Starbucks this morning. Got an oatmeal and a coffee. Two rewards weren't deducted. If I wanted to use them, I would have had to tell the Barista to apply one of my rewards to either my coffee or my oatmeal (or two rewards to both).
