cheap 22 lr rifle... Remington 597, Marlin 795, or Savage 64fxp or else
I am a newbie to gun ownership. Thinking about buying a 22 lr rifle on a tight budget.
A couple of models shows up in local Big 5.
Savage 64fxp.. with a scope on sale $170
Marlin 795.. on sale $160
I read that both guns can go below 125. In some case, it can go sub 100.
I just want to get opinion from folks here. Which gun is best bang for the buck ? If not these two, any other cheap/budget 22 lr should I look into ?
Forget about Ruger 10/22 for now. It is more than what I can shell out now.
