Great price. In 4 1 as a replacement for the original MX which i still use but is nearing the end of its life. They look almost identical though. Extremely comfortable.
Only thing i see the original MX has over this newer one is that it has a charging cradle into which you just drop the mouse. This newer one requires you plug in a usb cable. |

In a nutshell, the left mouse button will begin to lag or "un-click" when you hold it down after about six months of normal (i.e., non-gamer) operation. Stay far, far away from this mouse. Speaking of which, I need a replacement, NOW, because I'm tired of re-clicking to drag. Any NON-LOGITECH recommendations? Thanks in advance... |

Does anyone who already has this mouse notice a really high-pitched whine coming from it when you move it around? I didn't notice it at first, but now whenever I move the mouse (after about 2 months) it emits a super high pitch noise, very faint, but loud enough that i can hear it. Kind of like the sound an old CRT tv makes when it gets old.
I'm not sure if this is normal for Darkfield mice, or i need to get a replacement. Functionally it works just fine. |

Good mouse, but darkfield gets dodgy as the battery depletes. Battery life isnt all that great, though

My Revolution MX is still going, but I just had to do the mod to the scroll wheel and it still is only about 50% better (but I have had this mouse for about 4-ish years now). I am thinking about picking the Performance Mouse MX up as a backup, but does it live up to the Revolution MX? the lack of the thumb wheel kills me. |

I've been watching prices on the Performance Mouse MX after using one at work for the last 2 years. I originally found a MX1100 on clearance at Office Depot for $22. I had an issue after 2½ years and filed a warranty claim. Since the MX1100 was discontinued, Logitech sent me a Performance MX!
Now I'm hooked and want to buy one for home to replace my Microsoft Natural Laser Mouse 6000, which is OK, but missing key features. Favorite Perf MX feature is the hidden thumb button. Most used feature is the free-spinning scroll wheel. Might have to bite on $50. |
