Seems like a good deal. I sent the info to my brother so I think he will be using this. Appreciate the effort!
He was about to get the Galaxy S II for the same price. I knew there had to be something better than last years phone. Slickdeals to the rescue

I ordered two white HTC EVO LTE phones on Sunday and they arrived Tuesday morning. Activated one over the phone and one in chat. Both agents stated that activation should be free. One stated that bill would show an activation charge and credit automatically. Statement gets printed tomorow, so, we shall see.

The same holds true for just ordering the phone. Just start a chat session and tell the rep you need the code change to be able to order an LTE phone without switching your plan. |

SERO planner here... tried to get the phone and no go for me all the way around. Can't order the phone online (gives me a "popup" saying to call the Telesales number). Called and was sent from one to another to another and all saying no go. It's $199 for me. So, No Soup For Me!

Been looking at this and the S3... thanks OP.
True, the battery in the HTC EVO 4G LTE is not removable, but supposedly the battery is higher capacity and the phone has better battery management. We'll see... |

The Evo LTE battery life is much better than S3 if you flash the Mean rom. The only advantage of S3 is the removable battery.
However, S3 has a better LTE reception than Evo. Last edited by myamex; 10-18-2012 at 11:47 PM.. |
