How does this compare to deals at Costco? (If Costco even carries them)
Costco sells 3 pound bags for $10.99, which is a great price per pound. These are whole raw unsalted. They also sell 2 pound bags of almond slivers, I think for $7.99, which is higher priced but still a good price per pound. Finally, they sell some in a large plastic container that are cooked, salted and flavored, but I can't remember details except they also seemed to be a decent deal and of course tasted quite good.
I am surrounded by nuts right now...BF lives on almond orchard...

FWIW, and this is YMMV...I swung by Walgreens on my lunch break today.
It was like Night of the Living Dead in there...anyway, seems that it's Senior Citizen Day (55+.
I got my BOGO almonds, 2 cans for $3.22...I'm 20 years shy of the age requirement, but the lady in front of me decided she didn't want her Cheez Its, but apparently the discount remained.
