Great speakers for the sub $40 price. I bought 8 pair for work and they do sound pretty good.
I much prefer a 2.1 system compared to a 5.1 or 7.1. I never get proper placement for the other surround pieces, so its pointless and a waste. If you need speakers and have the time to do it, get em! |

manager at store 128 didn't honor price for me. i was told either coupon or price match.bad customer service.

My local staples never honors price match with a coupon. Manager is a coupon Nazi. Good deal OP.will try at another staples tomorrow.

Thanks! On my way to try this out now.
The Altec Lansing's I'm using now having been crackling every time i turn the speaker nob and making a funny "electricky" kinda burn smell.. better to have my house NOT burn down and get some new speakers. |

If you knew how much money a staples store raked in daily you probably wouldn't feel so bad. The constant stream of $25 off $100, $25 off $75, and even $20 of $50 coupons are a clear indication of their margins. Lies, damned lies, and contrast ratios.

Just went to Staples to try it out. Printed the BB ad (ended up pulling it up on my phone to show cashier) and grabbed a store ad at the front doors. Worked with no problem whatsoever. $22.45 total
