Not a bad deal. The (6) "Torx" tip drivers are fairly useless to "most" people. In my 56 years of life, I can't ever remember coming across a typical household task that required the use of a "Torx" tip.

I generally don't by any Craftsman (or other brand) tools unless they are marked down at least 50%, which in this case would be $27.50. So it's not a bad deal, just not slick enough for me. (22) pieces of the set are "daily type" useful. The rest is just fluff to boost the overall number count.

Don't doubt that at all. As a network engineer, you would use a lot of specialized tools. I did the same thing (using specialized tools), for 24 years in the Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. Read the part in my post again about "most" people, and "typical household task".

No, I prefer to own reasonably priced cars that are reliable. Like my 2001 Hyundai XG300L that has 136,000 miles on it. Only time in the shop in the last 11 years has been for a transmission output speed sensor, and for the engine, a mass air flow sensor. Or my 1995 Ford Ranger with 114,000 miles. Only time in the shop in the last 17 years has been to replace the clutch.

Guess I just like my money too much. Never been interested in "Break My Wallet" (BMW).

If you just needed some screwdrivers for typical household tasks, I'm not sure why you would be in a thread about a 41 piece Craftsman set.
