Not sure if the $30/month plan is still available, but I got the LG Motion phone on that plan a week or two ago and so far I'm quite happy with the service, and VERY happy with this great phone.

This deal is NOT dead!!
I stopped by my local MetroPCS Corporate store (Pontiac, MI - Perry St.) last night and they had a sign with the $30 unlimited talk/text/data plan advertised. They said they are not currently promoting it online, only in stores. I have not found it advertised anywhere online. However, I did see it advertised on TV right after the Sunday night football game (which is what prompted me to stop at the store last night). They had 2 commercials, one for the $30/mo plan and one for 4G phones starting @ $79 (or whatever). I even have it recorded on my DVR (because I am a Packer fan - ugh, what an ugly loss - but I digress...)
I plan to stop by tonight to sign up our family.
Obviously I don't know if this is across the nation (in their markets) or only in select markets, but it still lives!!!

So does this means MetroPCS will finally use sim-cards in their phones instead of the bull$hit CDMA crap?
Yeah, bull$hit CDMA crap technology just like Verizon and Sprint....
