Maxells are top-quality alkalines. I've never noticed any lifespan difference between them and Duracells or Energizers.

Good price, not a great price. The everyday price on Amazon is just 75 cents more with free shipping. I bought some on Amazon about a year ago and they are fair. They work better than cheap batteries from places like Big Lotts but the energizer seem to be a little better. Great for all of my little boys toys and gadgets.

I have plenty of AAs and AAAs, but really need a store of 9v. I looked at this and said, "there has to be a better deal out there". I spent about 30 minutes on Amazon and nope, this is actually the best deal I can find. However, I don't have ShopRunner so to get free shipping I'll have to buy 3 packs. UGH. I will probably die before I use 18 9v batteries... I'm going to call my dad and see if he needs a six-pack of these.

It's a good price compared to what they're usually asking in the retail stores...they're usually at or above $5 for a 2-pack. Toys R Us currently has 4 (two 2-packs) for $5, but you have to pay shipping or go to their retail store.

I see $10.75 on Amazon with Subscribe and Save, otherwise the price is $11.32. (Of course, S&S doesn't actually require that you get future shipments.) And shipping is only free with Prime or a $25 order.

The real deal here is the 36-pack of AAA, which is why I listed them first. The AA at $10 is cheaper than the recent Walmart deal that people went crazy over, and you had to buy 96 to get the price. That's why I listed those too. The AA are a good deal, the AAA are a great deal.

Toys R Us has two 2-packs of 9V for $4.99 [toysrus.com], but you either have to pay shipping or pick them up at a store...and there's only one B1G1 per order. It's a great deal if you're going there anyway, though.
