isn't Radeon HD 6670 the graphics card that will be used to power the Xbox720 or Playstation 4?

Just because you pay an extra $370 for a gtx 670 doesn't mean this card is bad.

It's an amazing card and good enough for gaming. Some people don't care about maxing out games, they can use their eyes instead of a silly internal scale integrated into games to judge the quality of graphics. Medium-high settings are good enough, hell the difference between high and max are minimal compared to how much extra money you have to put into your rig. Just compare battlefield 3 medium with max. It looks pretty much the same except for darker blacks and sharper background, but in the midst of gameplay you won't even notice these things. It's not 10 years ago where a good graphics card made graphics seem like it was night and day.

As i've stated this is not a card for MODERN games. IF you buy this to play crysis 2 or bf3 you will be sorely disappointed. I own this card and attempted gaming on it. Again, tf2 and left 4 dead 2 play just fine. But modern games do not. You have been warned.

Wrong. The card in the video you linked is a 6670 with 1GB DDR5. This gigabyte card is a 6670 with 1GB DDR3. The GDDR5 version is 30 to 40% faster than this card.

And as for playing crysis 2 and metro 2033, yes. You can play any game at 10 frames a second and get sick. Thats up to you. If you don't want to become ill from a game you are playing you need it to play at 45fps+ constantly.

Ill tell you what though a 6670 for $30 is a pretty damn good price.

This is a low end card. Even mid range at most when it came out.
Putting this in a PS4 (even a rumor) would be a bad move

the GT240 is a couple years old, the fan was getting pretty noisy, and it was struggling to play SBS 3D and 1080p video. I ended up pulling the card out, blew the dust out, upgraded the drivers (allowing for clean install), and it works much better... but i'm not sure how long it will last. price was more of a factor in my decision over performance, but i didn't want to down-grade.

also it should be noted that this card doesn't need any extra power from the PSU, only what is deliverd by the PCI Express slot. lower power consumption was another factor in my decision to buy this one.

This isnt a Deal. its the old 6000 series which is over 2 years old. the 8000 series comes out next year. thus this useless Expensive card will along with others go for 10-20$ AR on Newegg on Black Friday or Cuber Munday.

just because this card doesn't suit your needs doesn't mean this isn't a deal for a good card for what it does. will it play the newest games maxxed out to l33t levels... no. but it will play video pretty darn well.

The great thing about the 6670 is that it does not utilize much power so it should work presumably with a desktop with at least 300 watts. I strongly recommend that you do your own research on this to confirm.

Also, the price is very good, and has great potential to make a front page deal on slickdeals.
