I'd think that'd be fine.

The aspect that'd make the amp/receiver inadequate for a speaker setup are a few things.

The sensitivety level of the speakers and the size of the woofers on the speakers. It takes more power to push larger woofers. (there's more to it than that but, meh)

It leaves the receiver straining to give enough power to the speakers to push their drivers in an adequate and balanced fashion. It often makes the highs TOO high while not the lows don't have the power to *thump*. This is why it's popular for home theater systems to come with smaller satellite speakers along with a subwoofer which has it's own dedicated amp built into it. That allows for a cheap/low-powered receiver to power the little speakers while the bass is 99% taken care of by the self-powered sub.

e.g. This is a major reason people rate Polk Audio speakers as "bright" sounding. They are just labeling them like the situation above... it's because PA speakers need a lot of power to sound "correct" and they're amp/receiver is too wimpy to push them. I'm going off topic now but to a point... I had a "home theater speaker kit" hooked up to my Pioneer Elite receiver rated 120w per channel. For reference, if I turned the receiver volume up around -25 to -20 I'd probably blow those speakers. I went and bought some monster sized Polk Audio RTi10 floorstanding speakers. They only sounded OK with 120w pushing them at ~-10. It wasn't until I bi-amped the speakers so they were each getting 240w that they came alive(120w of that going directly to the woofers). They still aren't being pushed fully, but they sure sing now.

There's more to it, but that's a more simplified way of putting it.

I just got recently the FS51, BS41 from pioneer in the other deal.. Will this receiver work with them??

If it was a receiver for 100 or less, I would've gotten it. Being poor sucks. Any decent 5.1 receivers 100 or below?
