I got the same exact thing. "Product not available to your subscription". I'm OK with this, already snagged my $14.95 upgrade for Windows 8 Pro

I get the message - There is no subscription associated with your Live ID. Add a subscription to this account.

Sorry, I already had a LIVE ID because I used to subscribe to TechNET, so it was easy for me to take advantage of this offer by associating the offer with my LIVE ID. Now I have access and ca download Windows Server 2012 w/keys. I would imagine there is an easy way to get a LIVE ID, but I don't have that info.

I can download all of it, but it's probably because our VL and SA agreements are tied to my live ID =( Sorry for the false alarm! I'll go back to lurking now!

Anyone who gets the message "This product is not available at your subscription level. Learn More", you should create a new Microsoft account instead of Sign in to continue the registration.

when signing in, it will give you a list of many different software. just because it's listed, doesn't mean you're able to download it. that's why you will see the "subscription level" message. if you go to the windows 2012 server, you should see the download button.

check OP's list of software, those are the only ones you should be able to download unless you have a MSDN subscription.

Yeah, I think some people here have some other subscription associated with their live ID. I clicked the link and saw the products only without download buttons, and asking me to add subscriptions.

I get this message even though my spark membership is now active till 2015:

I had other expired msdn subscriptions, removing them fixed the problem. (Have only spark now)

Sorry if this is a dumb questions. I see this download available to me after signing up 'Windows Server 2012 (x64) - DVD (English)' is that what you are all referring to? Does X64 mean 64 Bit. And will that run on any relatively new desktop PC ? I'm only running XP pro on mine right now. And yes I tried to find the answer myself at that website before asking. Thanks in advance for any responses...except the ones telling me I'm a knucklehead for asking.

You can justify it that way, but the way I look at it is quite different. For example, you could go out and buy a car, or you could rent one. If you don't return your car at the end of the rental period, you got a car for much cheaper than purchasing one outright. But it doesn't mean that you legally own the car. In the same way, if you get this subscription and keep it past 6 months without following the subscription requirements, you do not own the license to the software when your subscription expires.

Society places more value on something physical like a car vs something like a software license. Just because there is a greater wrong doesn't mean that a lesser wrong is justified.

In any case, I come to slickdeals for legit deals, not for finding ways to scam businesses/people out of their products. People (above) were suggesting you falsify your information and break license terms in order to get the deal. That seems pretty shady to me and just doesn't seem like what slickdeals is about. However, I suppose I can be wrong about that.
