Im just spitballing here but my math works like this: $170 sales price -$109 (screen cost + sales tax, based on CO state estimate) -$17 (eBay listing % final value fees estimated at 10%) -$7 (PayPal fees estimated at 4%) -$20 shipping (again, just an estimate based on the dimensions of the box and weight). You clear less than $20 and that doesnt factor the gas you put in your car to pick the thing up or the hour it took you to do it. If the screen is damaged in shipment or the receiver is a jerk and files a complaint/chargeback you get completely screwed. It seems like a lot of risk for little reward. Maybe Im screwing up the numbers above. |

Yeah it sucks that ebay and paypal rapes you on fees but anymore its about volume.. If I sold 100 of them and made 24.07 would you not agree the profit is good on them? Also, you can't price them much higher than that because the new retail price for these is 179.99 New retail price is 179.99 any store that has them listed for more than that is price gouging Last edited by Mr.Ritz; 11-26-2012 at 11:51 AM.. For those needing to ship boxed items I would seriously just go buy a few rolls of this, wrap and tape them up good and send them on their way. I've had very good success this way.
