I'll be more interested when they become "Reliable Sprint".
After using Softbank in Japan...you might want to file that under "Probably not gonna happen."
I had to carry two phones (one on NTT DoCoMo aka the Verizon of Japan and the other a Softbank phone) with me at all times and god Softbank's coverage was mediocre at best...I hit a few deadzones when we left the big cities. I mean it was 10x better than Sprint's but not to Japanese standards.
I don't think I lost service once with NTT DoCoMo. It truly was the Verizon of Japan.
Pretty much all Sprint needs to do is push a crapload of advertising that they are "#1" and "premium" and then push some celebrities to advertise your phones. The Japanese eat that shit up like crazy which is why Softbank is so popular. Just find the American equivalent and they'll make it.
I hope all Hesse gets for severance when they show him the door is a SERO plan.
They may give him the SERO plan, along with $40ish million. The CEO before him, Forsee was a hunk of sh*t and they paid him like $25million when he left + he gets $80k/month for the rest of his life!! Cant quite figure out how he got such a great deal. And he's now working at a university making $400k/year. The power hungry greedy son of a b*tch.
Hell when nextel and sprint merged Barry West, the president of xohm at the time...was paid $15 million from the merger simply as a bonus. The only reason I know that is I used to work for them and knew his secretary. Errr admin assistant! Barry also has a couple mistresses, which shouldnt come as a shock. He also drove a sweet aston martin.
