When shipped...

I was simply replying to the guy who said he did the same thing, I preordered D3 from newegg and it didn't get to me on release date, so I picked up a copy from Walmart and was going to return the newegg copy when that came in. I got the idea from these forums, so I know I'm not the only slickdealer who tried this.



Yes, I did buy a copy at Walmart, and when I was purchasing it from the software department and when trying to return software, there was nothing posted about not accepting unopened software for returns, either in the store or on the receipt. So that's why I told them to fark off. I'm not as unscrupulous as some SD-ers who just return stuff they got on discount online to a store for full retail price.

In the end, I just gave the extra copy to my nephew for his birthday. So I'm not really out anything, just giving a heads up to people who are thinking of trying the whole newegg preorder, walmart midnight release, and return. (for PC games at least.)

Just an FYI, the OP left out the two biggest releases in the next month. This also works on Halo 4 and Assassin's Creed 3.

So many games, so little money.. :/
