Install a web browser, add a data plan thru your wireless provider.

1. Go to web broswer
2. Type in adress bar www.slickdeals.net
You now have acess to slick deals via smartphone, no need for an app.

LOL exactly my thoughts. i think its actually way more vital (x 192821) that families go out hang in the blistering cold together, chattin with each other and what not while they really cannot manage to play on their smartphone all day cuz their fingers would freeze, than sittin in front of the computer monitor lookin all angry and about to jump inside the monitor..

but in a warm region or on a warm BF day....people would just be lookin down in their smartphones doin the same sh...t..

Exactly Black Friday is nothing but one giant bait and switch scam that most are too stupid or too lazy(or both) to figure out. They advertise about 5 things they only have 5 of, that about a hundred people will line up for. Once the doors open the first 20 or so people get those deals, then after the 100 or so more people file in they all realize the deal is dead but they're in the store already roaming around and will more than likely buy SOMETHING at regular price because HEY "I've been standing out here for hours already, I can't walk away with nothing".

Now don't get me wrong i'm not saying I haven't gotten suckered before. Bak in 08 I fell into that trap and did the best buy camp out for like 2 hours in the morning. I I felt like a real idiot filing into best buy and knowing that I wasn't going to get that 32" dynex tv for 249.99 .

I got this model earlier for $1742 shipped white glove by Amazon. My next TV purchase will have the motheye filter in it (but will not be from Amazon because they tax CA now unless they can PM). I think OLED TVs will come out late next year but they will be even more expensive. Blackest plasma is from Panasonic but Sharp Elite LCD beats it by a hair. I just don't like the strange soap opera effect of LCDs that I can still see from the Elite. I also prefer a bezel-less and borderless design. LG did away with the bezel on some of their models but they still have a border when on. I think Samsung or Sony will beat them to it but I want it on a plasma. I also prefer passive 3D glasses. Almost there!

I don't know but come BF, just buy what you think is a great deal then on CM see if you can get a better deal, if not keep checking. You can always get price adjustment or return and rebuy. Just make sure there is no restocking fee and still within the return window.

they will never do that...same challenges as facebook is facing now with their mobile app ...its hard to display ads on mobiles that results in loss of revenue... if they figure out how to do it they should also let Mark Z know

110% slickdeals on smartphones is just a big pain in the butt, and annoying at the same time.

The best time to go is between 2am and 3am. Midnight crowds are going home, and it's too early for the 5am early birds. Not counting the door busters (which is always crap), the stores will still be fully stocked. At Best buy and Target last year, I found a noticeable drop in crowds during these times as well as still being well-stocked.

Yes of course online shopping is easier, but realize the black Friday shopping has become a family tradition for many.

Just an FYI Costco sells warranties for TV even if it's not sold from there. Prices from $29 to $99 for 3 years.
