Soo i just recieved a shipping confirmation for the printer from beach camera, after they confirmed my entire order was cancelled. This company is seriously retarted. I find it amusing it mentions the rebate in the item description.

I did received a call from BC about my order being reinstated, I did not call them they are must be calling people after they got some complaints. The camera was already shipped, now they are shipping the printer and including the invoice for the rebate.

Yes i just got this same call. The origional issue being they shipped separate, each one would have its own beach camera invoice, not allowing the rebate to work. The common ebay invoice wouldnt work either. They are now shipping the printer with a joint invoice, and i also just got emailed one as well. So this issue was all their doing, but in the end they are making it right, and we will get the ebay bucks and rebate.

I still havent gotten a camera shipping notice yet though?

I got off the phone with beach as well, it seems they "cancelled" order to make sure everyone ordering understands they have to send in the beach camera invoice and not ebay. Smart move for them to avoid hassle from people who may not know what is going on.

Yea but you would think they knew all this going in, did they not read the rebate at first or something? Thats the only thing i can guess because they offered it in the ebay auction title and page, obviously we all knew not to use the ebay invoice, but not everyone would.

Beach camera was trying to cover their end , never under estimate the stupidity of some people.

I receiving my camera tomorrow, and the printer on Thursday.

I already got my camera, T3i. It is pretty amazing. The beachcamera customer service is fully aware of the rebate issue and I think it is fine. I will get my printer later with probably the right receipt/invoice.

The one thing about the receipt that came with my camera though, it has both items, and beachcamera.com as the title. BUT there is a field where the title salesperson says Ebay.. I am wondering if that will be different with the printer receipt or if that even matters.

The probability with the rebate is very high, given the cooperation of the vendor. It turns out to be a good bet so far. I appreciate some of the fellow SDers who were persistent in pointing this out with 3-4 hours left last week.

Small details like purchase them BOTH in 1 receipt made me cancel one of the camera orders and try again, and the paypal acct is now properly refunded.

I got my printer but the "proper" invoice wasn't there. So I called Beach Camera and they sent me an email attachment with the right receipt. There is now no "Ebay" as a sales person. However, AFTER I sent over the camera UPC label, printer UPC Label, rebate form and receipt. VIA Certified USPS mail, I realized something as I was putting things away.

I realized that the box has a secondary and third proof of purchase. Does it mean that I can not sell the printer and have to provide the secondary/third proof of purchase at some point in the future? (or did I misread the rebate form?)

The second/third proof is on the top cardboard flap, and right next to each other... WITHOUT the 9 digit Printer serial number. Just curious if any of the experienced SDers can provide some guidance. (esp. those who already got their AMEX reward rebate card.)

Well my expierence with beach camera continues to be a horrible mess. I check the tracking on the printer today and it says delievery was refused and it is being sent back to BC. Thats not possible because the shipping address i used was my work and i get packages from fedex/ups all the time. The tracking i got for the camera through ebay doesnt even work, so i yet to have either item and the printer is on its way back to NJ.

Well i called fedex and they couldnt tell me anything helpful at all and told me to contact the shipper. Im wondering if BC somehow asked for the package back before we got the whole ebay/invoice thing worked out? Because the tracking shows it never even got on the truck for delivery.
