Bought the whole deal for $32, still agood deal since it's DRM-free and makes me FEEL GOOD.

Sacrifice is one of my all time favorites. It works on my Win 7, FYI. Definitely recommended.

Thanks Op, I bought quite a few of these when they came out and loved them. Getting DRM free versions (no disk required, yay!) and paying $35 for all of these was a no brainer for me, $2 each? There are several games on here where I paid more for the ONE when it came out (not much more though, they didn't cost $50-$60 like they do now). Sweet deal. I wonder what framerates I will get on MDK with a 690GTX . I don't quite recall what card I was using at the time, but I think it may have been voodoo add on cards when I played that game, too far back for me to match games to video cards.

Descent 3 still a fabulous multiplayer FPS. Great for LAN parties.

Did they rework the executables to run properly in a modern windows environment... otherwise most of these games will probably hit the crapper...

Fallout 2 is fantastic, as is Fallout.

As far as Interplay, it's been on life support since 2001, still clutching to life, refusing to let go. In 2001 they were bought out and their founder, Brian Fargo, left to open InXile because their new parent company switched their focus from PC to consoles. In 2003 they closed down Black Isle, the makers of Fallout 2, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment, whose members reformed as Obsidian. Interplay today is just a shade of it's former self.

Correct. No DRM, no activation, no client. You just download the installer and run it.

GoG does have an optional client, which makes downloading easier and faster, includes patch and update management, notifies you of forum replies and PMs, etc, and thus is similar to the Steam client in function. But it's completely optional.

Yes, that is what GoG does. That's part of what makes them unique and awesome. This is why I buy my classic games off GoG instead of Steam, because the GoG versions will run on Win 7 64bit without a problem.
