CANCELLATION POLICY UPDATE! CHECK YOUR EMAILS:

"It has been a very exciting six weeks since we relaunched, and we hope you've been enjoying your MoviePass as much as we've enjoyed creating it! We've received a ton of great customer feedback recently, and we've been taking comments into consideration as we continue to grow and expand. One of the main areas of feedback has been related to our cancellation policy and in an effort to provide a better user experience and a higher level of transparency, we have simplified things for you.

If you decide to cancel MoviePass within your first month of membership, you will be charged a cancellation fee of the difference between your monthly MoviePass rate and the total dollar amount of the movies you saw. If you're paying $30 dollars a month for MoviePass and you saw 5 movies at a cost of $10 each, you would pay a $20 cancellation fee. If your subscription fees are more then the cost of the tickets, you will be credited back the difference.

After your first month of membership, there will be a flat cancellation fee that is based on how long you have been a subscriber. The breakdown is as follows:

If account is cancelled within months 2 or 3, cancellation fees are $75
If account is cancelled within months 4, 5 or 6, cancellation fees are $60
If account is cancelled within months 7, 8 or 9, cancellation fees are $40
If account is cancelled within months 10 or 11, cancellation fees are $20

After your year long commitment, you will be able to cancel your MoviePass account at any time without cancellation fees.

We have a lot of things in store for MoviePass and your feedback has been invaluable. Our full terms and conditions may be viewed here; if you have any questions or feedback about this policy, or anything else MoviePass related, please reach out to our MoviePass Concierge via email at support@moviepass.com, live chat, or phone at (877) 646-2892."

Saw Skyfall today and Flight the other day. Skyfall was great and Adele's song was epic in the opening credits. Flight was meh!

so far this has been well worth it. Its nice being able to see whatever movie you want without worrying about it sucking and wasting 20 bucks

I'll chime in what I've seen so far:

Here Comes the Boom (just cause I could - and surprisingly entertaining movie)
Argo (it was fine for what it was, but I wasn't as crazy about it as the critics have been)
Cloud Atlas (I think this is way better, way more artistic than the critics gave it credit for)
Wreck It Ralph (a seriously amazing movie and more people need to go see it)
Skyfall (a very good action movie - Javier Bardem is the funnest villain I've seen in a long long time)

If you haven't seen Wreck It Ralph, go do so!

Moviepass is pretty amazing. Hopefully, they keep it up like this. I'm told by a rep that they keep the price the same for the duration of the contract, which would be amazing, since I got in on the promo price. But even if the price jumps up to the regular price here ($29.99), I'd still very much consider keeping it.

It's totally worth it at $30 too..

I saw wreck it Ralph twice - awesome movie..once in 2d once in 3d and I didn't think there was much of a difference. . I've seen everything out now..so I can't really use my moviepass. There is an indie theater about 20 minutes away that has a couple art house films I haven't seen...late quartet...the sessions...the other son. Maybe I'll go sometime later this week.

I am really looking forward to Lincoln which comes out on friday.

Lincoln should be pretty good. I actually heard the Sessions is supposed to be a good movie, so at some point, I'll probably end up checking that out too. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Wreck It Ralph was awesome. Pretty deep for an animated movie.

Well, I haven't been around this thread for a week or two, so I figured I'd check back in. We've been seeing 2 movies a week and it's been great since MoviePass fixed the location for our movie theater. No problems or issues at all.

I also convinced my sister and her husband to sign up back in the beginning of this whole deal and they have really been enjoying it. The first time, they had a problem with the card getting rejected at the Kiosk, but they chatted with support and got it worked out. They saw 4 movies last week and had a great time.

We saw Perks of Being a Wallflower last week and liked it quite a bit. We also enjoyed seeing previews for a ton of movies that we can't wait to see (at the indie movie theater).

We liked Wreck It Ralph, but we actually liked Hotel Transylvania even more. If you haven't seen that, it's awfully cute and worth seeing for free :-).

Tomorrow I think we're going to see Skyfall and then Flight on Wednesday ($1 popcorn day at our local theater). I am not a Bond person (only ever seen the last Bond -- Casino Royale), but once I heard that Javier Bodum plays the villain, I was totally sold! Can't wait!

Glad to hear it's going well for everyone. Please don't forget to post when you get charged for the next month so we all know what to expect. Thanks everyone!

I've been having problems at the kiosk lately too. Do you know, or could you find out, what the issue was and how they got it resolved? I would really appreciate it!

Well now I have to check out Hotel Transylvania and I actually did hear that Perks of Being a Wallflower is quite good, so I'll have to check that one out as well. You'll like the Bond movie a lot. I only saw Casino Royale myself, and I think I enjoyed this one more.

Side question for everyone - I know that 3D and Imax movies are not allowed. But here's an interesting question:

What about Fathom events/MET Opera events? You would think that those would also not be allowed, but they're neither 3D nor Imax movies. I just thought it'd be interesting to post this question. I thought about it when I saw that there was a Led Zeppelin event tomorrow (Tuesday).

Thoughts?
