$45 Refill card which used to provide 1gb over twelve months has now been increased to 4gb (still showing old top ups on walmart)

"Thank you for being a loyal Internet on the Go customer. We are pleased to announce that effective today, Internet on the Go will be improved with new plans and more megabytes. The current "no expiration" plan will continue to be offered as the "Go Big - Use Whenever" plan, but with more megabytes for each of the refill options. We are also introducing a completely new "Go Bigger - 30-Day" plan that gives you even more megabytes for use within a 30-day period.
The next time you refill your account, you will be able to choose one of the following plans:
• Go Big - Use Whenever plan
o $10 / 500MB
o $25 / 1.5GB
o $45 / 4GB
• Go Bigger - 30-Day plan
o $10 / 1GB
o $25 / 3GB
o $45 / 8GB "

How does the "Go Big - use whenever" plan work?

The "Go Big - use whenever" plan gives you megabytes that you can use whenever you want. If you don't use your megabytes, they will stay in your account as long as your account has not been cancelled or deactivated. You will only need to refill after your megabytes have been used up.

THE ZIP CODE CHECKER ON THE WALMART SITE NOW APPEARS TO BE WORKING - The correct Coverage map from INTERNET ON THE GO can be seen HERE, they use the Sprint network http://www.internet-go.com/coverage/

If you have a Walmart nearby, you can check it out for an out-of-pocket expense of $10.00
Walmart offers a 2 week Full Refund policy on this Hotspot unit (NOT ON THE REFILL CARD). You can buy the unit, register it and pay $10 online and check it out yourself. Try at home and other locations where you intend using it; if it is satisfactory, keep it; else within 2 weeks return it for a Full Refund.

I have been using it for 3 weeks and am happy with it, mainly because it serves my purpose; checking Email, reading a few blogs. (NO NETFLIX, YOUTUBE etc..).

The issues are coverage and speed; expectation and experience is different for everyone; so best to try it out for yourself.

When I registered and purchased the first refill of $10 online, I was offered a free $25 credit; not sure whether this is for everyone or not.

If you are concerned about bandwidth usage, do a google on it to find tips on saving bandwidth. Opera turbo, Firefox with Image suppress option, Ad blocking etc.. may save you bandwidth. Without any of these, my normal Email check, blog reading of about 5 days (5 hours) consumed about 300MB.

One full charge seems to last about 4-5 hours.

I have been able to set this at a central location at home and get service up to 40 ft. through one wall.

For some reason the Zip code checker DOES NOT appear to be working, If you check the coverage map it appears to be accurate!!

No problem, I think this is great for occasional users. Make sure you check the coverage on the Internet-to-go website or link in the posting. The Walmart zip code coverage checker DOES NOT WORK!

Umm. Tmobile's $30 5GB plan on an android phone with hotspot isn't a better option?

The question is, could I have TWO data plans? Say one on a monthly plan, then an additional use anytime plan?
