Where to find a reputable online auto parts website

I am looking to buy 4 new door lock actuators for my 2010 Honda Civic DX. I have been scouring the net for places to buy from, but it seems like every time I find a store they have no reputation on google, resellerratings, or anywhere else aside from their "whois" info that I have found.

I found this site with pretty good prices but the same is true that I cannot find reputation on them:

Any ideas on where I can find a parts dealer who actually has reputation online?

Not sure about Honda, but I'm on a couple of forums for my car and members are always recommending some third party parts retailers. I'd check some honda-specific forums. They may have good suggestions on where to find good parts, especially if you're looking OEM.

Have you considered just going to Ebay and doing a search [ebay.com]? Top sellers are considered reliable for the most part.

We've bought from Rock Auto and Amazon. Found the best prices on Amazon.

rockauto.com is pretty much the only place I buy auto parts online.

Rockauto or sometimes even Advanced online with local pickup or FS as they absolutely whore their stuff out with constantly coupon deals, CB, etc.

Ive ordered several items from them ( its majestic honda in rhode island ) their prices are cheaper then your local dealer but they do add a processing fee so you have to factor that in. If your looking for reviews I suggest looking at maybe CR-V, Accord or Civic forums and just do a search of the site for majestic or hondaautomotiveparts. Never heard anything bad about them though, you have to have a decent size order though for it to be cheaper then your local dealer. Some local dealers will match their prices.

I buy from Rock Auto or Amazon, and sometimes eBay. That and http://www.tascaparts.com/partloc...eid=213668 for dealer only Ford parts.

car-part.com is good for finding parts at salvage yards.

4 new lock actuators on a 2-3 year old car? I thought hondas were supposed to be reliable? What about the 3 year warranty?

Please dont tell me your replacing the locks because you think the previous owner made a copy and will take your car...

You should have places around you that sell used auto parts, where they buy up whole cars that have been in accidents and rip them down and/or - they purchase the parts from others who do so. They keep an inventory on computers that you are able to call and tell them exactly what you want, and they can tell you if they have it in stock or not and the price. If not in stock, they can tell you exactly when they can get it in for you. We have several that we use on a consistent basis, all with in a certain area of where we live. They sell just about anything vehicle related. We never go the Internet Route, because we need the part "now" - not later, and these places we deal with give us 100% guarantee they will work, or we are able to return them.

That is the type of place you are looking for locally They do exist, you need to find them - they are out there. If you have a Technician friend, ask them, they know who/where these places are
