Saw the email this morning but didn't post it because it's not much of a deal. Up until yesterday, Amazon was selling it for $155.

Input:
Recent Grad, WRT54G2 v1 flashed with micro-ddwrt is starting to show signs of aging. Looking for a replacement with good range and handles multiple dudes streaming video (suckas stealing all my bandwidth!) on youtube and the like. I don't use any network filesharing nor do I intend to do anything of the sort, so I know that makes routers like this one overkill for me. And they would kill me and reach over my dead body into my wallet for the extra $50. Does anyone have any recommendations for me? I prefer control, so Tomato or DDWRT flash-able are huge pluses for me! |

agree with above post RT-N16 is sufficient for home use, unless all your wireless devices are N standard.
