It's got a better build quality than most any rubber domes, it's heavy, feels substantial, and the keys feel great.

I have it in browns and it's no problems so far.

I brought the brown switch last time and it feels pretty good

How would this one compare to a Ducky DK1087 or 1008?

I've watched that video already and yes I hear a difference. To me the Matias Quiet Pro is definitely quieter than the Filco Majestouch-2 with Cherry Browns and the Corsair Vengeance K90 with Cherry Reds althought it could be mostly keycap "thack". The Cooler Master Quick Fire Rapid with Cherry Blacks is about the same to me, maybe even quieter. Although that's a switch I don't care for, it probably speaks well of the keyboard construction. I like Cherry Blues but dang that is one antisocial board, can't really use it in most office settings. lot of what makes a keyboard loud isn't really the switch at all, it's the rest of the keyboard, how the switches are mounted and to what, the key caps, and how all of these resonate. Dampening the switches can improve the situation a lot. I agree that vendor web sites, in general, aren't objective sources of information but IMHO I trust Matias and think their recording was done with a lot more care than the youtube videos I've seen. I have no firsthand experience with these as of yet but have been waiting for a while and hope to get one fairly soon or "upgrade" one of my existing boards with Matias switches once I can get my hands on them. This should be along the lines of the old SGI dampened alps keyboards I used years ago and loved, but new.

hold both left and right shifts and type out "THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER THE LAZY DOG"

on my work computer keyboard

again so far so good on the CM Quickfire pro, definitely a lot quieter than my friends cherry blues

space bar seems a little flimsey

Using a CM Storm Quickfire Pro with red switches, and I have no problem with NKRO test. Also this keyboard is frikkin awesome.
