my local thrift store has hundreds of kids books for .39 cents each. AND I can select what I want. 50 books for 19.50. works for me!

Anyone who spends time teaching kids out of their home is technically a "home schooler" as confirmed by Scholastic. You obviously didn't read the post very closely. I never told anyone to lie.

Comparing BRAND NEW books that average about $5 - $10 new, to used books in a thrift store is idiotic. That's like comparing new clothes to used thrift store clothes. Go troll somewhere else. If you don't like the deal then don't buy it.

won't buy....my kids 3, 5 years old are picky...they only like certain books, starwar, princess, lego...

No, anyone who teaches their child is called a parent. A home schooled child is a child who stays home and has their parent/s teach them exclusively. Don't try to justify your lies!

I'm sorry are you insinuating that "brand new" books are better than gently used books? That seems kind of outrageous and obnoxious! I think I bought my daughter 1 brand new book before and she has about 50 that are used and are very popular. Why would someone blindly spend 50 dollars on books to which you don't even know the titles of? I know a slick deal when I see one and this definitely isn't. Sorry to bust your bubble!!!

Comparing new to used is nonsense. Period. This deal is for new books at a wonderful price and it IS a phenominal deal. This deal is not to be compared with used thrift store books. If you want to buy used thrift store books and shout it at a mountain top the prices you paid, go for it. But for you to come in here and dog this thread saying it is not a good deal because you can get thrift store books at a better price, you are wrong my friend for that comparison for there is NO COMPARISON AT ALL, and you can troll elsewhere. New should be compared to new and used should be compared to used. Sorry to bust YOUR bubble!!!

Anyone know how quickly they ship out and via what method?

I just ordered them (and I am a "real" homeschooler thankyouverymuch) but now I'm worried they won't get here in time. We're moving soon!
