Yeah, the 40mm is a better combo than the 18-55, it's got better resale value if that is the way you choose to go. And if you keep it, it's a great lens that also has the STM ability with the T4i

I submitted two rebates recently using USPS certified mail and there is no tracking updates after 10 days. Does anyone know what the rebate company will do if USPS lose the mail? It is good they both are shown accepted by USPS postal office.

The $500 rebate is if you buy the Pro9500 printer, OP has the Pro9000 printer hence it's the second rebate for $400
