these (siberia v2) are among the top5 most comfortable headsets i have ever used... up there with the $200 audio technica A900 sets thanks to the light weight and suspension cable.
audio quality is about par for a $50 gaming headset... nothing amazing but not bad either... if you are not some high end audiophile and just want a solid comfortable headset for gaming and light music/movies, this is great for the price if you want high end sound and gaming, look at audio technica AD700 or sennheiser HD555 or similar... |

I have these, not this special edition though. I have an average sized head and they are a little snug for my liking. They will greatly increase the severity of a headache if I've already got one/am getting one. I should also mention I usually play in one and a half to two hour intervals and at most twice a day.
The mic is pretty sensitive and everyone will hear my breathing over xbox live, if I move it so that they can't hear my breathing then they won't hear my voice. I usually have to talk quietly given that I play late and don't want to disturb anyone. I've had to take a foam peice from the regular xbox mic to put over this because it doesn't have anything to cut ambient/wind noise, it's just a raw mic. I like it overall, just a couple of quick tiffs. For reference http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/7...ng-headset Last edited by bruteshot; 10-22-2012 at 10:51 AM.. |

For comparison, we tried the Logitech G35's, the Trittor AxPC Pro's, and the expensive Sennheiser headset (can't remember the model - it's was usually about $180). This set is by far the most comfortable. I liked the Tritton's, but after breaking my third set in 6 months while just taking them off my head, I decided that they had to go. The hard plastic broke way too easily -- these are much more flexible. One thing to be careful about -- this set looks legit, but in the past, I got some of these from 1SaleADay that actually turned out to be a cheaper PS3 version of the V2's. So if you search past deals and find a slightly cheaper price, it was probably that cheaper set. |
