I'll agree that I don't feel these are anywhere near audiophile grade headphones when it comes to music quality, but if someone is looking to buy these for that purpose, you're in the wrong area.

For gaming sessions, these work well. I would get headaches from the pressure of wearing headsets for hours at a time, these don't give me said issues due to the way they sit on my head (tight by comfy). The ear cups breath well too, so if you get worked up while gaming, they will keep some decent air flow. No one wants a sweaty headset.

Not to sound rude, but the phones you referenced in your above post (at least the first two) are both more then double the price of these when I pulled them up on Amazon. If you're going to compare, I'd note a little better that either "hey, pay double the price for something amazing" or find a set a little closer in price for reference (granted I didn't go searching elsewhere to find them cheaper). Still, here's some rep for adding in your personal experience with these, as that's all we have to go on. Cheers!

Ah, yes - in that case you would be correct. i think the only reason these are selling so well from this particular vendor is solely because of the pricepoint. People are well aware of their "less than desireable" shipping delays by this point i think.

If you're not prepared to wait seeing these until perhaps the 2nd week of November, you'll probably be let down. With that being said - it's a great price.

well if you ask me $90+ dollars for steelseries is pretty steep. These aren't your run of the mill cheap headphones. Actually they are but they are more priced in the range where you can contend with some more "pro" phones. You definitely could get some decent IEM's for that price range. Heck i've gotten Beyerdynamics dt770 full cans for 135 shipped before. Yes i get that it's on sale but if that's the case why not get some Sens when they are on sale? (At least if the Sens were on sale then you know your getting a good deal, unlike this deal where it's on sale but that's actually what they should of been charging on the first place so it's almost like an illusion.) So if Sens were on sale i shouldn't compare Sens to Audio Technicas just because it's cheaper?
