dang i thought my deal alert said Xdm- this is pretty good though. I own an xd 9. like it. my next gun purchase though will be the XDs .45

Palmetto state is run by asshats. Seriously. Most recently I placed an order during their 10% off sale (the one where before sale prices were increased by more than 10%). They held onto my money for 2 weeks before telling me the shotgun stock I had ordered was out of stock (still shows in stock on their website). Can't do anything about it and when I canceled they were going to charge me 10%. For what? Company policy... These guys are shady as fark and customer service is non existent. That 803 number on their website rarely transfers to an actual person. You have to look up their local number for one of their B&M stores.

I purchased my XD from them earlier this year. The experience was also less than ideal. I'd avoid these guys out of principal from now on.

I have the 9mm full size and love it. The first gun I purchased and it's a fun one to have that gets the job done and looks pretty nice. Highly recommended.

I completely agree about the PSA experience. I bought a bunch of stuff from them and never had an issue but am turned off by those who had the same experience as the poster above---a cancellation fee for an order that was never processed along with non-refundable shipping charges on something that never shipped.

There are better companies to do business with that actually answer emails and the phone. Check out ar15 dot com under the industry posts for Palmetto state armory and you will see lots of problems with them and their bad customer service.

PSA aren't asshats, but they are seriously overwhelmed by demand now. And their constant killer sales aren't helping. They should lay off the daily deals and focus on working through their backlog. They're making a lot of people unhappy at the moment.

Basically if you order from them, you'll get your merchandise eventually, but you're going to have to wait a good long time for it to ship.

I have a friend who has the XD in .45 and it points extremely well and handles the recoil very nicely for a polymer framed pistol.

I imagine that the 9mm and ..40 would both be very sweet shooting guns.

Their general attitude--check out ar15 dot com--is screw you. The old sears mentality--we're a catalog company, order what you want and wait until we get around to shipping to you.

Further, they charge your card when you buy instead of when it ships which is a pet peeve of mine.

They claim the 10% cancellation fee is for someone to go find the order, unbox it, do the charge reversal and then package for someone else. The problem is that the reason the person is cancelling is that their order was never shipped. If the part was in a box addressed to me then it should be in the mail.

They have some real growing pains going on right now but there is an internet full of companies that answer the phones, have reasonable shipping times, and don't argue with the customer that they are wrong when the customer tells them that they don't like certain optional policies. It's like arguing with my five year old. With them the customer is always wrong and their policy is 'my way or the highway'. Just look at the ar15 dot com forums and see where the entire PSA industry forum is filled with PSA folks getting mouthy with customers with valid complaints. Draw you own conclusion.

I hope PSA gets their act together, I like ordering from them. But I will no longer until they straighten up this nonsense policy and their shipping problems.

good deal but I'd want a 45 xd currently.

I've ordered a handgun and ammo on several occasions from PSA and I didn't have any problems. They took 3 weeks to ship the XD, but that was a BF deal and I expected to wait. All the ammo orders shipped within two days from order date.

meh i made a few orders with them. Some fast, some slow but always got the product at a great price.

might buy one, not sure....

I really wanted them to be my one stop shop for firearms and accessories online. Apparently their in store service is much better (according to Yelp) but seeing as how much business they're generating through their online store front you'd think they'd focus a bit more attention here.
