GoPro Wi-Fi BacPac + Wi-Fi Remote Combo Kit $80

Couple of days ago, I spotted online that REI [rei.com] had the GoPro Wifi BacPac & WiFi Remote Combo Kit for $79.99, but it was out of stock online for shipping. You can go to the store and they can price match the online's price if you show them (I went yesterday and they said they had no problem doing so, Fairfax, VA). Good for those who have membership with REI and get dividend.

Also, Amazon [amazon.com] appeared to have price matched REI (I also submitted a price match request upon finding out REI). Good for many for tax free and free shipping...

Regular price was $99.99 MSRP. Drop of $20 is nice. Don't know if it'll be the new price.

Just a tip for those that buy this and try to update the firmware. It didn't want to work until I closed the Cineform tool from the toolbar. After you install the software and you run it you'll see a red C icon in the toolbar for transcoding or something. Right-click and close that bugger before you attempt firmware upgrade on the wifi bacpac. This was with the PC version of Cineform Studio v 1.2.1.129.

When they finally released the iphone app, I had to use an XP computer to update them. (Didn't work on Win7 64 or OSX Snow Leopard) Their firmware update software leaves a lot to be desired.
