But today, I got an email saying everything I ordered is now unavailable. I checked some items and they are still available. So pissed. They clearly canceled my order because of the discounts!
Anyway had this happen to them?
I got an email saying my order was cancled as well. If the system cannot fulfil the order at the exact time it attempts to, you get a generic apology and 10% "apology" discount usable for your next purchase.
I had the same reaction as you when I went online and found everything that was canceled was now available. What I did is call customer service and they will re-do your order with the prices you have locked in (they will see the old order prices) just be sure you have your order number handy. I was also able to apply the 10% apology discount as well, so I am actually glad this happened since I got the 10% to stack with the 40%!
