Logitech Revue With Google TV Intuitive Keyboard (Refurbished) $49 AR + SH

I haves tried that in past and the picture quality was not as good. I used a gold plated HDMI cable with Netflix.

I owned this for 1 month but had to return it. The web browsing is extremely slow. Flash is watchable but took forever to load. It is always on and cannot be turned off.

But for $49, it may be worth getting. The keyboard itself, if it can be used on PC, is already worth $30. I'd pass though. Note that this device is no longer in production, so I wouldn't count much on support.

One of my favorite feature of the Logitech Revue is its build in IR Blaster. This means you can turn your Revue to a universal remote and control it from your iPhone/Android device.

The keyboard is also pretty slick.

Any other TV Box that lets me watch HBO, ESPN, Hulu, ... over web app for free?

Good for Netflix, Youtube, Playing videos from USB drive etc..

Revue for browsing?

For me Youtube works fine.. Podcast videos are not an issue.. USB drive videos are not an issues.. Watching videos/movies directly from website is slow..

It does support Flash. Many content providers choose to restrict access based upon the Flash binaries that are used though and I don't recall the Revue having a stable/easy means to acquire root access (which would allow modification to them).

Which Sony Google TV device do you have? The NSZ-GT1 (first generation Google TV Blu-ray payer combo) has been able to access Hulu and pretty much any online Flash video content for quite some time now when rooted.

Make sure stuff like HBO GO and MAX GO are working. They both stopped a few weeks ago and some changes made to the hbo and cinemax web sites might need the current version of flash, instead of the older version. I just gave up on the google tv and started using an xbox 360 instead. Everything works, and with the new browser some other stuff might open up.

No.- I have the revue and Sony 46 inch google tv ....and so far i can watch live tv on both , tested using justin.tv website and plays smooth ,and ocassionally web browsing ....Also i have a 35 Megs with comcast , also both updated to latest software .

I've been happy with my Roku XDS.. keeping an eye on Vizio Co star.. but heard that its first release is real buggy...
