I have a piece of jailbreak information I want to share to someone who needs it. I bought this refurb Ipad3 2 weeks ago, Came with ios 5.1.1. I was using redsnow to jailbreak it. Got cydia on springboard. But cannot open Cydia, every time I click on cydia, it open and close in 1 second. So I download ifunbox here: http://www.i-funbox.com/ Then install it on my computuer, Connect my ipad, go to ifunbox classic tab, then find the folder system applications, delete the cydia folder in it. reboot my ipad, open cydia and baam. It works. now I can use cydia perfectly fine.

You can return the iPad to an Apple Store within 14 days of the date you receive it.

Seems like they are all being shipped from there so the fact that it is being sent from China is not an indicator if it is in fact brand new or refurbished. The one I received looked brand new and they all get 1 year AppleCare coverage so they may as well be brand new.

FWIW, i checked my discover card and I got the shop discover 5% and online purchase 5%, missed the 2% on 10/26/12. 10% is still not bad in my books.

Got mine today, checked the serial number, which shows "Production week: 44 (November) " and "Factory: DK (Refurbished)". Does anybody know the "production week" here indicates the original manufacture date or the refurbish date?

oh really...if you wait they will price this at $299 and if you wait further they will price it at $250 and at one point it will be worth nothing if you wait long enough. Also with you waiting long enough you loose jailbreak and get the latest ios which might be slow and buggy. BTW i spent less than $350 and got a free smart cover on top and plenty of cashback....u keep waiting.

Hey dummy. The 16 GB version has been out of stock for a while now. Since these models are discontinued or being sold as refurbs, there isn't an endless supply of them.

I guess they are not restocking this anytime soon :-(
