You mean...Does any frequent flier program offer a system like this? where you could pay for the trip partly with points and partly with cash? Unfortunately no. I wish they'd create something like that, but I'm not holding my breath. Rep unto others as you would have them Rep unto you.

I got snippy because that question has come up multiple times and has been answered. I have nothing against helping others! Heck, I'm a newbie too. But there's only so many times one can type the same thing again... If there's something you didn't understand, quote it, and I'll be happy to explain it to you. |

Looks like 24K points = $100 best buy gift card. So you'll get like $75 + around $200 = $275 from this credit card. Source: https://mr.userewards.c |

As pointed out by Kazeari, you CAN get gift cards, but at a really poor value. Take a look here, [userewards.com] you'll see that you can get a $200 gc for 46,000 points + your $75 statement credit. So you get $275 out of this card. Now say if you stay at a hotel, Including the free night certificate you get upon approval and the $75, you could easily squeeze $500 (if not more) worth of nights out of the 50k points. For example: The Coutyard Hartford Manchester is a Category 2 hotel. [marriott.com] One night costs 10k. So just for the 50k you could get 7 nights (you get 1 free after 4 nights+ your 1 free night certificate). If you were to pay cash... One night there costs $150. You do the math. This value is multiplied many times over when redeeming for nights at exotic Marriott hotels around the world. If you're just looking for a card that you can get some money out of, then get the Citi card as suggested, or the Chase Sapphire Preferred. Cheers.

got everything
My LD applied in Sept, got $75 after 1st purchase, got 50k in 1st statement, got 1 night free reward also. we already booked SA sea world trip with the free night reward. this free night reward is only good for 6 months. We also registered the stay/buy 2 night and get 1 night free, and already got 2nd free night reward, the buy 2 get 1 offer will give you a reward good for 1 year.
