I am in the market for a pair of front-load washer and gas dryer for my new house due to close in March. Should I buy them during BF or wait until it is close to the closing date? Haven't seen any good deal for front-load washer and gas dryer yet.

This year the ad just leaked and they have a pretty nice Kenmore Elite set for $650 each....but it got TERRIBLE reviews on amazon. I mean TERRIBLE!!!!! I am leaning towards the Samsung set at Lowes, but can't find any reviews ANYWHERE |

I just picked the set LG WM2250CW and DLE2250W from Sears.com yesterday night. Although the front pricing shows $799.99 but if you go through all the way to the last purchase page, you will see the price is actually $539.99/each because Sears has a 10% promotion valid through 11/13 8am CT.
Remember to go through Shopdiscover because they have a 10% bonus for Sears purchase and if you did receive an extra 10% Family and Friends email coupon, it's stackable. I forgot to add that to my order and I chatted with the customer service and they were able to add the extra 10% coupon, which will be refunded to me. I got both the washer/dryer, stacking kit, flexible pipe and close elbow for $1251.97 + tax + 79.99 delivery charge (I had an extra $10 charge because I needed weekend delivery) minus the $120 (from $599.99-10% = %539.99). The final total came up to 1311.01. If the extra 10% does go through, then my final cost would be down to $1175.91. If the Shopdiscover 10% bonus goes through, my final cost would go down further to $1058.32. Not sure if my calculations is done right but if it's true, then I'm quite happy with my purchase. p/s: I hardly post on here but hopefully my post would be able to help someone out there. Or if there's any mistakes, please let me know. Happy slickdealing!!

Same Dilemma
I'm also debating whether to purchase the LG on sale for $599 at Home Depot or wait for the Samsung to go on sale for the same price $599 at Best Buy on Black Friday.I compared both and LG has the 2nd rinse and prewash dispenser while the Samsung has the steam and sanitation. Also regular price for LG is $799 while the Samsung is $899. Does this mean I'll get better value if I purchase the Samsung? I'm not sure. Is this $100 more for the steam option? If you have a discover card, sign up for their cash back bonus which is 5% on online purchases from Oct till Dec. Also shop through shopdiscover to get an additional 5%. I chatted with them online today and made sure we can combine both. So for $600 machine, you're getting $60 cashback, not bad. Also where I live in Oregon I can get $100 rebate for the power company and $50 from the water company. Cool! One problem is I can't find any review to that Samsung. I assume it's a new model! Does anyone know if Sears and Best Buy will have the BF washer/dryer deals online? I'm in the same situation as the posters above. Looking at the $599 front load washer/dryer deals. Missed out on the F&F sale at Sears earlier. I would prefer to buy online and not wait in line for hours on the morning of BF if possible.
