Washer dryer BF

Do you have any details on the sales they will have starting on 11-8? We are in the market for a new washer/dryer.

I have a 17 year old Amana washing machine that works well, albeit it has a long washing cycle and a 40 year old GE dryer that works well with the exception of a timer that works haphazardly (no replacement part available). Would a new top loading basic washer/dryer perform better than these old machines and be more energy efficient?

It is a good deal on the LG washer but I would prefer to have the Samsung washer for $599 that was just leaked in the Best Buy ad. Only problem is I will be out of state on Black Friday...

It is the weekly ad. The appliance deals that say "special buy" are the same ones that will be in the BF ad, but you can get the BF pricing now until 11/26. They did the same thing last year, if you look at last years ad it says "final 5 days on special buy appliances" Also the fine print on the Buy 2 + appliances get $xxx off and the financing shows the effective dates 11/8-11/26. I'm just passing along the info my hubby was told, that the appliance deals start now and there isn't going to be a "better deal" on the BF ad.

I think Lowes will be our best bet

Bought my dryer 2 weeks ago at the Sears Outlet, a nice Kenmore for $284 after tax and after 5% off q that I found on RTMN. Was in the store looking at the dryer, inspected it, took a look for scratches, dents, looked great, was a return but didn't look used, I then asked the employees if they would honor the 5% off online code, they said no... spent a few minutes on my phone, checked out, bought the item on their website and went to the counter for in-store pickup. Had to add a power cord since dryers don't come with them, and it was the 3 wire type I needed. Overall $300 after tax and with the power cord for something I needed right away vs. waiting till black friday and worrying about getting it or not... I highly recommend that you check out the Sears Outlet online site, narrow down to stores near you, search specifically for washers or dryers and go instore with your smartphone, if you decide to buy online, and inspect the items... I saw alot of good deals when I went to the outlet, but when I looked online, I noticed that some areas had ALOT more reduced price items and deals than my area.

The store charges around $70 for delivery, which was another reason I got the dryer before black friday... my dad was visiting and had his suburban so didn't need to pay for delivery = what I would have possibly saved on black friday.

are the 599 LG washer/dryer combo any good?

Been wanting that LG 5.1 turbo washer hmu if it goes on sale. so far the price has been 1250
