I just know I've had friends return things 3 to 5 years after they bought them because they broke and Costco gave them their money back. So maybe it isn't forever - but it is a lot longer than a normal return policy.

There is a way to lock out the LCD touchscreen on the 900 (not positive on the One) - but you unlock it by pressing any button on the remote. So it doesn't sound like this would help in your case.

That's a really interesting question/idea. Not stupid at all. With remotes like the new Harmony Touch, it looks some models are moving away from physical buttons and encouraging mostly touch screen use. I think with remotes like that a lock feature could be very useful and probably wouldn't be too difficult to program in.

On their website [costco.com] Costco only states a time limited return policy (90 days) on televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, touch screen tablets, MP3 players and cellular phones. That caveat didn't exist until February 2007 [msn.com].

Was looking for the Harmony One at my local Costco in Santa Clarita, CA, but couldn't find it. Might check another one near work, and if I can't find it might bite on this deal. Thanks OP.

When I placed my order, I almost immediately received an email from Logitech with an Order # in the subject line but in the email body it said the same thing as yours:

"Your order is currently being reviewed. You will receive a further email with the details of your order within the following 24 hours. "

About an hour later, I received another email with the subject of "Logitech - Order confirmation for order #..." (same order # as my email) - this had all of the details of my order. So it might take an hour or so from your order time to receive that 2nd email with the details.
