As for whether the beam or hybrid beams work well, I've only purchased the traditional style before. For what it's worth, our FX has the beam type from the factory, and they seem to work pretty well, but then again, I would expect that from an OEM blade. For this deal, I bought 4 pairs of the hybrid beam style blades, and I just put them on over the weekend. I haven't tested them yet, but it's been raining all day today, so I guess I'll find out today if they work well or not. Personally, I don't think the style of blade will have any impact on the longevity. Eventually they'll all start deteriorating and streaking. What concerns me about the beam style is that depending on the curvature of the windshield, the beam type may not make good contact along the full length of the blade, since the pressure is only applied at one point. I went with the Transform because I wasn't ready to try out the beam style yet, but I also wanted something that's nicer looking than the traditional style. No matter what you go with, you end up paying like $2 or less per blade, so it's not that big a loss if it doesn't work out. |

http://www.ancowipers.com/product..._transform Aero is their regular blade if you like those. Transform is their top of line blade, Contour is a cheaper version of Transform, Profile is a cheaper version of Contour You'll pay multiple shipping charges if blades from Rockauto are shipped from different warehouses so see which blades are in stock from the same warehouse and then make your decision from there I went with Profile since 4 pairs came out to $59 shipped from a single warehouse and I got $60 back by rebate -- forgot the exact prices, but didnt feel like paying ~$0.50-1.00/blade for Contour or ~$1.50-$2.00/blade for Transform Don't forget to use a 5% off coupon -- I decided to skip it incase the rebate was denied, but the packing slip that you mail in for the rebate does not have any pricing info on it so the rebate center won't know |

![]() what is the promotion code for the rebate. i was looking at the presubmit part but not seeing the rebate number listed in the wiki. even anco's page advertises the rebate, but no code for it. Last edited by twistrman; 12-31-2012 at 02:42 PM.. |
