Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.3GHz Blu-Ray Combo Drive8GB Memory, 1TB Hard Drive, 32GB SSD,GTX 660M, 1080P $930 plus tax Costco

Received mine today. The hard drive combination is wrong. I received a 750GB + 32GB SSD. Costco has the listing completely wrong, they list 1tb, 750gb, 1tb+32gb but not what it really is: 750GB + 32GB SSD. It does have the 1920x1080 screen, so that part is correct.

They refunded every penny that I paid. Customer service mailed a box to me and postpaid mailing label. What more could you ask? Nice people to deal with.

Thank you for the update. Can you verify if the processor is also correct or could you give us the exact model you received so we can research it?

I did a google search on this. Apparently lenovo says it doesn't work but many posts said they installed 16 GB in their y580 and it all showed up just fine and passed mem test.

Also to the guy who got his in, would love to have a model and full specs list, pretty please! but imo, its great news it has the 32 gb ssd. I could care less about the extra 250gb.

So yes the processor, ram, screen, blu ray, graphics are all correct. The only difference is we've got a 750gb 5400rpm samsung drive vs a 1tb.
I'm still undecided if I want to make a small complaint about this or not, I can live with the 750gb just fine. I only purchased this model as I didn't want to wait 6+ weeks from Lenovo for the model with a newer revision of our processor.

It seems costco pulled this from their website. I suspect due to incorrect listing. Last I checked they had 175 still in stock and only selling about 20 per day.

1) how many days did the shipping take after the order?
2)whats the final price u paid including taxes?
3)did u experience any heating issues with the laptop?
4)is your wireless card functioning stable?

I ordered it on Thursday morning, they shipped it out Friday, I paid for extra for express shipping and received it on Monday. It was 1 day shipping but you know the weekend doesn't count for UPS .

Final price will vary depending on tax for your state, if you are a member of costco (or if you become a member), & shipping. I paid just over $1000.

I've only had it a day but I've experiences no heating issues nor any issues with the wireless.

Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. It wasn't cheap but it had all the features I wanted at a price I was willing to pay.
