Thread Details

At the moment, there are three stackable promotions running on Keurig coffee makers at Staples. Each promo is effectively 20% off the original price. First is a 20% off coupon (linked below). Second is a Staples easy rebate for a Staples gift card in varying amounts ($20 for the B30, $25 for the B145, and $50 for the B155). Third is a mail in rebate from Keurig (PDF linked below), also for varying amounts depending on the model ($20 for the B30, $26 for the B145, and $50 for the B155).

Hmmm that is strange. I talked with 2 CSRs and a supervisor this morning and they wouldn't budge.

I just chatted again with Beth (was hoping to chat with Helen) but they said that they forwarded my record to the manager for review. I do not hold my breath for this since they will never get back to you. Probably if enough people fight for it, they will step back and correct it.

Just chatted again with Andrea using a different name. Same assurance that Staples is eligible. Are you sure it's not something else that rejected the rebate?

They kept saying Staples is not eligible.

Edit: It looked like they just fixed the problem. My status changed to "household limit exceeded". It turned out that they mistakenly recorded a quantity of 2 for the other record although I mailed 2 rebates separately (7 days difference between those). Geez, what is going on with those idiots at Parago?

The limit is 2. But they want all to be on the same receipt (1 check per household). So if you have 2 separate transactions, you should submit using 2 names/2 addresses.

I noted this earlier, but didn't get any responses.

OK, the form I received in the newspaper on Sunday 10/14 says absolutely nothing about any exclusions on the front or back (both sides are full color). The bottom third of the one side is identical (as far as I can tell) to the PDF. This is clearly a case of rules being made up as they go along, IF Staples is the reason they are denying the claim.

Yeah, had a chat with Helen and she says the system didn't recognize the UPC. She fixed it. Big Grin

My previous rebate submission was valid and now it changed to "missing UPC and this offer is not combinable with the other promotion"MadMad

PS: I just filed a complaint with BBB. Am I the only person that had this bad luck?

i got the combinable with other promotions BS, going over it with CS right now.. they are saying the staples rebate invalidates the Keurig rebate.. i dont remember seeing that

They are able to override!! mine got pushed through.. if u submitted through Staples for rebate they are aware and will void u for that reason.

Man, this rebate has became a nightmare for me. I chatted with a CSR this morning and he told me that I needed to contact a supervisor. My experience with Parago has never been this bad!!!!
