LEGO Sets 50%+ off at Walmart ~ YMMV ~ Star Wars, Super Heroes, City Police, etc.

Anyone find Lego Ninjago on closeout?

There were a few Ninjago sets at my Walmart...they were not 50% off but they were probably around 30-40% off.

I just did a item inquiry on that and there is no home office markdown on it yet. So any markdown would be store-led and extremely unlikely as HO will inevitably do it themselves and markdown dollars are precious.

I just went to my local Walmart (Greensburg, PA) to get a rain-check for the $39.97 Mine Set...while filling out the raincheck the CSR told me that someone had told her that they put a TON of Lego sets on clearance this morning.

I went back and sure enough, there were a couple in the toy department (Super Heroes and Star Wars) and a BUNCH in the clearance area (which in my Walmart was near hardware).

They had a bunch of CARS, City Police, Harry Potter, and more (plus the Super Heroes and Star Wars that I mentioned).

I got 4441 for $17.00 and 7961 for $29.50.

Some of the smaller sets were only marked down to $6 or $7 but they had a bunch of large sets for like 50+ % off.

Since you're in Greensburg, I'm going to go check out the Wal-Mart in Delmont/Export after work today to see if they have any on clearance. Hope they do.
