LEGO Sets 50%+ off at Walmart ~ YMMV ~ Star Wars, Super Heroes, City Police, etc.

went to Walmart across from work (Plynouth Rd. Livonia, MI). Found a few clearance sets:

Heros Green Lantern 4528 $11 (2)
Harry Potter 4865 $9.50 (2)
Star Wars 7962 $64 (4)
Lord of The Rings $46 (2)
Cars 9485 $29 (2)
most of these are still more expensive that Target's regular price (without the 5% Redcard discount)

I wonder if they would ring up less....

My advice is to go in bad areas Walmart. I checked other 3 Walmarts today and no lego found.

I went to "2" Walmarts and neither of them had any super discounts.
I couldn't believe the price of Lego's these days...

I picked up the Lego Star Wars Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator for $30

I few lego sets went on clearance at my local Walmart about a month ago. Lego Batman Batcave for $30 and the Two Face set for $20. This happens quite sporadic at Walmart though. I went to return a toy I purchased which had just been released, it was a DC Universe Action League Larfleeze figure and it rang up at $5 so I returned it and re-bought it.

Finally got over to the Walmart in our old neighborhood this afternoon...slim pickings in the clearance area and none of the sets that have already been mentioned.

However, I call it a worthwhile trip because I did get LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean The Black Pearl and LEGO Space Police Galactic Enforcer for $11 each. These are both long since discontinued, right? Both were originally retailing for $99.99 at this store...

FX that some of the LEGO Monster stuff goes on clearance after Halloween. I'm hoping to pick up some of the Ghost bagged sets from Target after Halloween for sure.

No lego clearance but I did find this Little Tykes Grill for $22.

I went to the final Walmart near me that I thought might have some. Big clearance area but no Lego. I guess I will visit there sooner next time I hear of Lego being on sale.

I did get Cars 2 Raoul Caroule for my son for Christmas lol. Not on sale but cheaper than Amazon.

Yes, found 2 in my local walmart today, both marked with red labels so I was excited, of course the price is still $99.97 even though it was in clearance. Maybe someone on here knows the cycle. Maybe they move this stuff at full price to clearance, see if it moves with a red tag, and if it doesnt, after XXXX amount of weeks it starts getting marked down.
