Thanks for the email, In response to your question, you will still be able to submit a claim, however due to the condition of the items you may not be able to claim the full amount for the trade in. Unfortunately I cannot give you an estimate on how much money you would get back on the claim, it would first need to be submitted and the items in question sent to our recycle centre to be assessed, at this point you would be contacted to advise you of how much you would be able to receive on the claim, you can either accept or reject this assessment. It says in the terms that the tablet must be regularly priced at 599 or more. The Samsung Series 5 is 599 but its normally $650. Would that not qualify?

I did a trade in with Staples a whe ago... They were offering $100 for an old laptop if you were buying a new one..once they got it they said my laptop is worth $70 and if I don't like the offer I shod let them know. I tried to contact them several times but they never returned my calls / email and instead they sent me a $70 card. Called staples corporate and they told me all the tradeins are done through a 3rd party and they can't do anything . I'll never trade anything with staples unless I can do it in store .

Anyone do this trade in yet? I just bought a Samsung 500t from staples and debating to either sell my Sony tablet on Craigslist for around 180 or send it into the trade in and hope to get more.
