there is drag, and it's really bad when your screen is dirty. but it fits much better than the hard plastic ones and you wont get crazy scratches.

I'm a little apprehensive about using water on my iphone/ipad to apply these. Besides the risk of getting the phone too wet, do these leave any sticky glue residue?

dont be, ive used zagg's and invisible shield's on numerious devices (3g, 3gs, fascinate, etc.) with no problems and no sticky residue. just leave your phone off for a while if your really worried.

Think of it as condoms. It has a failure rate of 3% (meaning for every 100 nights you exchange intercourse with your SO, 3 of the nights you're not really protected!) yet schools are still insisting children to practice safe intercourse by providing condoms to the kids.

but yes it gorilla glass can still scratch, if you watched last night's episode of South Park you can clearly witness this. Personally I wouldn't get one for the front since I don't plan on taking a knife to my iPad, but it's worth considering for the back. $9 shipped for three, debating.

I've owned the G1, HD2, Galaxy S, G2x, Sensation, Radar 4G, Lumia 710, and Galaxy Nexus (and about to receive the Note II) and never have I experienced a single scratch on the glass of the phone. I remain dubious.
